CNC Production Machinist – Lead Setup Technician

Role Scope Lead setups and operate CNC machinery to deliver parts that meet blueprint requirements.

Translate technical drawings into efficient machining sequences and toolpaths.

Continuously monitor processes, making precise adjustments to uphold quality.

Train and mentor CNC operators, sharing best practices and safe methods.

Carry out preventive maintenance to protect uptime and accuracy.

Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Partner with the team to streamline changeovers and improve throughput.

Keep your cell orderly and safe, aligned with company guidelines.

What Sets You Up for Success High school diploma or equivalent; a machining certificate or technical degree is advantageous.

At least 5 years of CNC operation experience.

Expertise in reading blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong understanding of CNC programming fundamentals and machining processes.

Confidence with precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).Meticulous focus on quality with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
