Operations Tech, Finishing

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions seeks an Operations Tech, Finishing to support precision manufacturing of orthopedic implants and instruments. In this role, you will operate and monitor finishing equipment, perform deburring, polishing, and surface treatments, and ensure products meet strict medical device specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following detailed work instructions, measuring parts with gauges and micrometers, documenting results, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

You will collaborate with quality and production teams, follow FDA and ISO requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement in a high-tech, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor finishing, deburring, and polishing equipment for orthopedic components
• Follow blueprints, routers, and work instructions to meet specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and visual standards
• Document production and inspection data accurately in quality systems
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance
• Adhere to FDA, ISO, and company quality and safety procedures
• Communicate issues with quality, engineering, and production teams
