How can you make a difference?

As a Programme Specialist, you will, under the guidance of the supervisor, support the planning, design, implementation, and administration of assigned projects, contributing to the effective delivery of UNICEF programmes and strategic priorities. You will help ensure high quality and timely results while promoting a strong focus on equity, inclusion, and the rights of every child.

  • To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

    • Education: Master Or Equivalent (Advanced University Degree) In Social Science, International Development, Public Administration, Government, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, Development Studies, And Any Other Related Fields.
    • Work Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Emergency, Program Management, Results Based Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Knowledge Management, Capacity Building, Partnership Development, Policy Analysis, Advocacy, Financial Management, Humanitarian Programming. And any other related fields.
    • Skills: Strong experience in Programme Management, Results-Based Management, Rights-Based Programming, Programme Monitoring, Partnership Management, and UNICEF Programme Policies is required.
    • Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
    • Language:
      Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language

    Knowledge of Emergency Response, Fieldwork, Donor Relations, Policy Advocacy, Capacity Building and Kurdish Language is considered an asset.

    • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
