Catering Assistant

Looking for regular weekday work in Arbroath? Platinum Recruitment is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join a busy Contract Catering site, offering Monday to Friday hours on a rota basis, with shifts starting as early as 6:30am and finishing as late as 8:30pm.

The role is starting ASAP and is ongoing until further notice, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent temporary work, with a flexible rota of early and late shifts.

• £14.24 per hour including holiday pay
• Monday to Friday working pattern

As a Catering Assistant, you'll support the smooth running of the catering operation, helping with both food preparation and service. Duties will include:

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving food and drinks to customers
• Setting up and replenishing food service areas
• Washing up and keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and tidy
• Supporting the wider catering team during busy service periods
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures

We're looking for someone reliable, hardworking and comfortable working as part of a busy catering team. You'll ideally have:

• Previous catering or hospitality experience
• Good customer service skills
• Basic food preparation skills
• A good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness
• Flexible availability to work Monday to Friday on a rota
• Availability for shifts between 6:30am and 8:30pm
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Good reliability and timekeeping
