We are looking for experienced Cabinet Makers who take pride in accurate, hands-on work and want to be part of a stable, skilled shop team.
THE ROLE
The Cabinet Maker builds custom cabinets, millwork components, retail fixtures, and engineered wood products according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role is hands-on and requires strong bench skills, safe use of woodworking tools and machinery, knowledge of materials, and the ability to complete work accurately within project timelines. You will be part of a manufacturing team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and doing the job right.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Evaluate shop drawings, engineered drawings, cut lists, and job specifications before and during fabrication.
- Build and assemble cabinets, millwork, store fixture components, and related parts according to drawings and quality standards.
- Prepare cabinets and parts to receive laminate, veneer, paint, solid surface, or other finishes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently for all aspects of cabinet building.
- Work with laminates, veneers, hardwoods, sheet goods, hardware, and related materials.
- Measure, fit, adjust, assemble, and inspect work to ensure quality, accuracy, and readiness for next production steps.
- Complete assigned work within requested time frames with minimal supervision.
- Support the broader manufacturing team in all aspects of the production process when needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3-5 years of cabinetmaking, bench carpentry, millwork, or related woodworking experience preferred.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery required for cabinet building.
- Experience with laminates, veneers, solid surface materials, hardwoods, and commercial millwork details is strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings, engineered drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to work safely and help create a safe working environment for others.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance for a Monday-Friday production schedule.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to follow instructions, drawings, and safety requirements.
- Positive attitude, craftsmanship mindset, and willingness to support teammates across the manufacturing process.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for most of the day and regularly walk, bend, twist, reach, pull, and push with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work overtime when required to meet production needs.
