Position: Unit Secretary - Rehabilitation care Unit - Full Time 8 hours Days (8:30AM to 4:30PM) (Non-Union, Non-Exempt)

Unit Secretary

The unit secretary functions as receptionist for the department performing secretarial duties. Answers and handles multiple calls and screens and takes appropriate messages as needed. Transcribes physician orders and files reports and paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. Demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and the organization. Applies good interpersonal and communication process utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve organizational service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.

Minimum Education:

High School or equivalent

Minimum Experience:

1 year Recent data entry experience. Minimum

Skills:

Ability to read, writes, and speaks English. Must work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Pay Transparency The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 – $27.01.
