1) Multiple Subject credential with EL Authorization(Preliminary or Clear) or PK-3 ECE Specialist Instruction Credential with EL Authorization (Detailed copy - must be current and reflect eff/exp dates, please do not include the ornate credential copy in lieu of the detailed copy) If you are currently finishing student teaching, but do not yet have a CA credential issued by CTC, please provide written documentation from the university with an anticipated completion date listed.
2) Transcripts showing 24 units in Early Childhood Education OR a child development permit issued by CTC( One of these is required to meet the new TK standards)
3) EL Certification (ELAM, ELA 1, CLAD Attach as a separate document if it is not embedded in your Multiple Subject Credential)
4) Three (3) current letters of reference/recommendation
5) Current Resume
6) Transcripts - BA/BS degree and beyond
7) Cover Letter
8) CSET/Exam Score reports or Subject Matter verification

All documents must be attached by the closing date to be considered. Due to the high number of applicants, incomplete applications will not move forward to the site screening panels.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This posting will be closed upon receipt of 100 applications or the posted closing date, whichever occurs first. Arcadia Unified School District offers a free BTSA/Induction program to clear your credential. Benefits:
Certificated ATA $12,945.50 annually for 2026-27 (or maximum cashback of $10,957.00 minus the cost of mandatory dental, optional vision, and life if you can provide proof of other employer-sponsored coverage)

* Pre-Employment Requirements (To be completed upon hire):

-Before employment can be finalized, the following requirements must be successfully completed:
1. Fingerprinting and Background Check:

-All new employees must be fingerprinted for the Arcadia Unified School District. If you have previously been fingerprinted for employment with Arcadia Unified, this step may not be required.

-Fingerprints are used to conduct a confidential background investigation.

-Disclosure of Convictions:
All candidates with a record of convictions are required to disclose this information in the designated sections of the EDJOIN application. A conviction record will not automatically disqualify an applicant; however, failure to disclose all convictions may lead to disqualification from the hiring process or dismissal if hired.

-Please note that these fingerprints are separate from any fingerprints completed with any other organizations, including the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and are required for employment. Fingerprint clearances do not transfer to or from Arcadia Unified.
