About thisLocation:
This position is located at the Embassy Suites in Arcadia, CA. A city nestled by the San Gabriel Mountains, known for it’s blend of suburban charm and natural beauty. Home to the renowned Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden and the historic Santa Anita racetrack. Arcadia offers a unique blend of outdoor recreation and rich cultural heritage.
Why do we need you?To perform a combination of tasks, which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience.
What you will do:20. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property including wearing a name identification badge.
21. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
22. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
Skills and Abilities:- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions; lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. >
- Flexible availability to work any shift/day, including holidays and weekends.
- Comfortable with using a radio to communicate with the front desk and housekeeping supervisors
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from supervisor.
Physical Demands: Heavy work. Exerting up to 50-100 pounds of force occasionally.
Requirements- High School completion, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
