Perm Senior Operations Analyst (Underwriting)

Senior Underwriting Operations Analyst 27s primary responsibility is to oversee the Underwriting Operations team to deliver centralised operational support to Underwriting teams by ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently, accurately and within defined timelines throughout the policy lifecycle.

• Oversee the daily operations of the Underwriting Operations team, providing technical guidance, maintaining procedures, and ensuring continuity of service.
• Develop and mentor Operations Analysts while collaborating with lead underwriters to identify and deliver centralised operational support.
• Monitor SLA performance and aged debt across consortia underwriting teams, escalating issues and representing the teams at the Workflow Management Group.
• Support the Director of Underwriting Performance and Operations in establishing new underwriting teams and delivering key operational initiatives.

• Experience of risk data entry in an insurance company.
• Experience of managing a data entry team preferable.
• Knowledge of insurance policy administration systems.
