The Role
The Brand Marketing Director leads national and local brand‑building strategies that strengthen brand equity, shape brand reputation, and elevate the dining experience. This role partners closely with the Growth Marketing Team to ensure all marketing efforts, including new restaurant openings, are aligned with our Purpose, Mission, and Values and expressed consistently across channels.
Responsibilities- Develop and lead consumer‑facing 360° national campaigns grounded in guest and market insights to strengthen brand equity and recognition. Oversee cross‑functional and agency collaboration, own creative, PR, partnerships and social media outcomes, and partner with growth marketing teams to deliver on aligned KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Growth Marketing Team on new restaurant opening marketing strategy and initiatives, including events, community partnerships and marketing communications rollout. Own all creative expression and all landlord liaison from pre‑launch to post‑launch.
- Oversee local restaurant marketing and implement high‑impact initiatives that drive traffic, enhance cultural relevance, and deepen community engagement. Partner with the Growth Marketing Director to guide sales‑driving efforts across all locations, ensuring brand integrity, cohesive storytelling, and return on investment.
- Manage guest‑experience elevation initiatives in restaurants, including menu experience, evergreen engagement programs, ambiance enhancements, and brand‑building moments throughout the guest journey.
- Direct creative and marketing services to ensure timely, on‑brand project delivery with high standards of consistency and executional excellence for internal and external priorities.
- Own and manage the company’s social media channels, website presence, online shop, including strategy, content, creative direction, and ongoing optimization to ensure brand integrity, cultural relevance, and a consistent expression of our Purpose, Mission, and Values across these digital touchpoints.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth while cultivating a culture aligned with our Purpose, Mission, and Values.
- Partner with People & Culture and Communications Teams to establish employer brand strategy, developing storytelling campaigns and content that strengthen talent attraction, highlight our people‑first culture, and reinforce our reputation as an employer of choice.
- 15+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality marketing, with a proven track record of leading multi‑channel campaigns and teams from planning through launch and 6+ years in senior leadership and function‑lead roles.
- Bachelor in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required.
