About Huntington Drive Health and Rehabilitation Center
Huntington Drive Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 99-bed facility that provides routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. The facility employs nursing staff to ensure residents receive care in privacy, have their vital signs checked, wounds dressed, and receive comprehensive nursing services while monitoring for falls and addressing resident and family concerns.
Position OverviewThe purpose of your job position is to provide each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards that govern the facility and as directed by your supervisors.
Essential Duties- Provide nursing care in privacy
- Check vital signs
- Dress wounds
- Insert catheters
- Listen to residents and families
- Address concerns
- Perform accurate charting
- Report changes in condition
- Assist and supervise CNAs
- Ensure equipment is operational
- Monitor fall risk
- Collect lab samples
- Follow all facility policies and infection control procedures
- Report occupational exposures immediately
- Adequately attend training programs
- Complete other assignments as requested by management
