Staff RN – Operating Room – Surgery – Full Time (8‑hour days, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)
Location & EmploymentKeck Medicine of USC, Arcadia, CA. Union, Non‑Exempt.
CompensationUp to $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus.
Job SummaryA clinically competent, registered professional nurse who utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care to patients. Services are provided to acutely ill patients with medical/surgical diagnoses or maternal–child health, which are the primary reasons for admission. The RN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carries out established nursing procedures, and performs nursing care for patients with complex, multisystem needs.
The RN demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and the organization, applying good interpersonal and communication processes to achieve organizational service goals of customer satisfaction and a positive work environment.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or graduate of a nursing program.
- At least 1 year of acute care experience.
- Current RN experience in the assigned area of nursing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Registered Nurse – RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
