Staff RN, Medical Surgical Telemetry

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the unit Manager and/or the Director of the department
• Responsible for planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating each patient’s care
• Direct care provided by the LVN, CNA, nursing student, and/or logistics technician
• Understanding and participating in the organization-wide Performance Improvement Program
• Demonstrates the IRAISE values in all professional and patient care interactions
• Performs other duties as assigned by Manager / Director / Clinical Lead RN

• Associate degree in nursing required
• Current RN licensure in the State of California required
• ACLS certification required when appropriate
• BLS certification required
• Basic computer skills required
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Preferred: A registered nurse with current RN experience in the specific service or department
• Preferred:
  One-year acute care experience

Demonstrates expertise in patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation, while adhering to the IRAISE values. Holds current RN licensure in California and relevant certifications, ensuring high standards of care in acute settings.
