Job Description

The ideal Salesperson is passionate about fashion and styling and has the ability to cultivate and grow a customer following, both digitally and in-store.

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling, using tools such as text and social media.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and provide excellent service on their terms.
• Provide honest and confident feedback about style and fit.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.
• Work with the team to keep the department customer‑ready through order fulfillment, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.

Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. Handle merchandise regularly; lift items up to 10pounds and occasionally up to 25pounds.

Hourly: $18.30 – $18.30. Commission: apparel, shoes, accessories 3%–14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance 3%.
