Seasonal Sales Associate

Role Description

The Seasonal Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site position located in Arcadia, CA. This role focuses on providing welcoming, knowledgeable service to customers, assisting with product selection, and supporting memorable shopping experiences during peak seasons. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging shoppers, explaining product features and benefits, processing sales and returns, maintaining store presentation, and keeping displays organized and well-stocked. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle basic cleaning tasks, follow loss prevention and safety procedures, and support store events or promotional activities as needed.

Collaboration with team members and adherence to company policies and standards are key aspects of this role.

• Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
• Basic cash-handling and point-of-sale (POS) skills, with attention to accuracy and adherence to store procedures.
• Organizational skills for maintaining visual standards, merchandising displays, and a clean, orderly sales floor.
• Reliability and flexibility to work part-time, including evenings, weekends, and holiday peak periods.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move around the store, and handle small merchandise safely.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
