Mobile Associate, Bilingual - Retail Sales

Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They build energy and excitement around products and services, assisting customers in a fast‑paced environment. The role involves learning customer needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions, and preparing for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

• Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world‑class experience and loyalty by helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, exploring individual needs, providing hands‑on demonstrations, side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions, and approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity, and compassion.
• Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools during interactions and onboarding to demonstrate coverage strengths, explain how T‑Mobile plans enable unlimited connectivity, complete training on the in‑store experience, acquire new skills, and seek information about wireless and technology innovations.
• Establish relationships with and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels to collectively own the customer experience, resolve issues, handoff small‑business leads, and support team initiatives while fostering an inclusive environment.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred (Required)

• Passionate customer advocate who focuses on authentic connection and enjoyment (Required)
• Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment (Required)
• Willingness to work with peers and store leaders, learning, sharing ideas, and resolving customer issues (Required)
• Effective at balancing customer needs with performance goals (Required)

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

No travel required.

Hourly base pay: $19.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completion, promotion to Mobile Expert allows eligibility for an annualized incentive target of $18,000 per year. All employees are guaranteed an inclusive base of $20 per hour, and all are eligible for an annual stock grant.
