Position SummaryNext Era Energy is seeking a technical individual to be part of the FPL Power Generation Solar Operations Team. PGD Field Engineer shall be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the large scale universal solar and or battery facilities inside the state of Florida. This individual is responsible as the site safety manager to ensure all personnel and equipment onsite are safe and that the site/s are in environmental compliance with all required regulatory permit requirements.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
- Devises new solutions to problems encountered
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's - Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Experience:
2+ years - Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
