Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Opportunity – Make an Impact in Your Community
Prosperity Placement Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join a growing behavioral health team serving children, adolescents, and families in the Arcadia, Florida area.
This opportunity is ideal for an LMHC who is passionate about outpatient behavioral health, school-based counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborative patient care.
Compensation & Benefits- $80,000 - $88,000 Based on Experience

- Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and behavioral health services in a school-based and outpatient setting
- Conduct 30-minute therapy sessions
- Complete behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency behavioral health support when necessary
- Collaborate with physicians, school staff, case managers, and behavioral health professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Support patients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral disorders, and substance abuse issues
- Active Florida LMHC license in good standing
- Experience providing psychotherapy and counseling services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of behavioral health treatment planning
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- School-based counseling experience
- Substance abuse/addictions counseling background
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Experience working with multicultural populations
