Control Room Operator

Location: Arcadia, FL, 34266
Shift: 2nd - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Control Room Operator to join our team in Arcadia, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the juice processing systems, ensuring smooth operation, quality control, and safety compliance. This role requires hands-on involvement in system startups, shutdowns, cleaning procedures, and emergency response.

• Coordinate juice room operations and cleanup on extractors and other associated processes.
• After extractors ACUS is finished, start extractor line.
• Check and record pH of final rinse water.
• Make-up two percent (2%) caustic solution and start pulp system ACUS.
• After pulp system ACUS is finished, coordinate with Quality Control (Q.C.) to inspect finishers, then re-start pulp system.
• Ensure proper fruit flow in extractors.

• Experience operating and monitoring pulp processing or similar industrial systems.
• Ability to perform chemical mixing and system startups/shutdowns safely and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for recording data such as time and temperatures.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond to emergency stops and alarms.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with Quality Control and maintenance teams and other operators.
• Basic computer skills for operating production control systems.

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to pulp processing equipment, chemicals, and cleaning operations. The candidate must be able to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
