Job Description Summary:

Provides comprehensive, high-quality, and patient-centered healthcare services within an outpatient clinic setting. This role involves independent and collaborative practice in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic health conditions, health promotion, and disease prevention for a diverse patient population, all while upholding Advent Health’s mission and values.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Strong clinical, organizational and educational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; keen attention to detail
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff Proficient in EMR systems
• Ability to teach, give and receive feedback and advise
• Ability to respond to stressful situations in a consistent, professional, and courteous manner, and to handle confidential matters with utmost discretion.
• Exhibits an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude toward change; shows flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity and varying company culture
• Demonstrate knowledge of adult learning principles and promote Plan, Do, Study, Act concepts in the work environment
• Complies with all organizational policy, procedures, standard operating procedures, rule, regulations, accreditation standards, and by-laws

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Masters or Doctorate Nursing Practitioner Program

Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:

• State of Florida ARNP Licensure
• ARNP Certification through AANP or ANCC
• BLS Certifications
• Continuing education required to maintain licensure
