Avfuel is in search of outside sales producers in Florida for our aviation supply and services company. With an extremely stable and consistent history, Avfuel has served the industry for 50 years. Ideal candidates will be based in South Florida. Candidates in Central and North Florida may also be considered.

Our customers include fixed‑base operators, airports, corporate flight departments, helicopter operators, commercial airlines, cargo haulers and government and military entities. It is because of this growth that we are seeking sales candidates to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively acquire, develop, and retain high‑value fuel accounts while cultivating long‑term strategic partnerships.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving revenue growth through market development and solution‑oriented selling.
  • Enhance existing sales forecasts and performance targets, using market intelligence and data analysis to guide entrepreneurial decision‑making.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales goals through pipeline management and proactive customer engagement.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal sales divisions to uncover new revenue streams.
  • Develop market expertise across assigned airports and regions, identifying key influencers.
  • Maintain a competitive edge through continuous research of industry news, competitor strategies, customer behaviors, and evolving industry dynamics.
  • Exercise autonomy and initiative in territory management, including strategic planning and execution across Florida, Georgia, and the Caribbean.
  • Travel regularly to engage customers face‑to‑face and uncover new market opportunities (approximately three days per week, every other week).
  • Must be able to drive and fly without restrictions to effectively manage the assigned territory.
Qualifications
  • Experience in prospecting, sales and closing new business.
  • Ability to perform calls to generate leads.
  • Ability to perform analysis to qualify opportunities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Outgoing personality and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Prior 3‑5 years outside sales experience is a plus.
Education & Other Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Aviation experience including charter, aircraft or parts sales, dispatch and management is preferred.
  • Ideally located in the South Florida area; candidates in Central and North Florida will be considered.
