The Carpenter Helper assists with constructing, erecting, stripping, and/or repairing structures of steel, wood, or plywood using hand and power tools, conforming to construction documents. The role may involve all of the following duties but can specialize in one or more areas.

The Carpenter Helper will possess competency in the following areas to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by co‑workers assigned to this role. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job.

• Helps install footing forms
• Helps build and install structural deck forms
• Helps set slab‑on‑grade forms
• Helps prep and set tilt‑up/precast forms
• Ensures a safe work environment
• Participates in training/certifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training.
