Job Title:
Utilization Review Registered Nurse (RN)
Location:
Arcata, California
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date:
February 13, 2026
Schedule:
Five 8-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed
Hours:
40 hours/week
- Perform utilization review and case management functions
- Assess medical necessity and appropriateness of care
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and insurance providers
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
- Document reviews accurately using EMR systems
- Bed Size: 50–149 beds
- Trauma Level: N/A
- Holiday coverage required
- Active California RN License (must be current)
- Minimum 3 years of Utilization Management experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Proof of negative TB screening within the last 12 months
- Experience with CPSI/Evident EMR preferred
