Job DescriptionThe Pre-Op/PACU RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires a focus on patient safety and comfort throughout the pre-operative and postoperative processes.
Responsibilities- Administer pre-operative assessments and procedures.
- Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
- Must have a current California RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- TB clearance completed within 12 months prior to starting work.
