Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location:
Arcata, CA
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts weekly.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
- Manage emergency situations and provide timely and effective patient treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient conditions and progress accurately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active California RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract starting date.
