Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Arcata, CA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER (Emergency Room) nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Excellent triage and assessment skills
• Strong communication ability and a calm approach under pressure
• Experience with electronic medical record systems is a plus

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an emergency department
• Triage and assess patients, prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor patient progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold ER protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding care, treatments, and follow-up instructions

• Competitive weekly pay between $3000 and $3300, depending on experience and qualifications
