- Develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans for a variety of electronic, cable & harness, and electromechanical assemblies, including material and process specifications.
- Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop process plans, tooling, support equipment, and process flows.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
- Apply lean and six sigma manufacturing principles to reduce cost and increase yields.
- Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.
- Have good communication skills and work effectively in a team environment.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance.
- Position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Knowledge in Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques.
- Basic skills in 3D modeling software such as Solid Works and 3D printing prototyping.
- Understanding of Root Cause/Corrective Action concepts.
- Data analytics experience.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour, five‑day work week to condensed schedules that provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
