Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen;
This position will require a government security clearance and work at a facility that requires special access.
You will be a Manufacturing Engineer at Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility, which specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. Our team produces electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety‑critical systems for various defense and commercial applications. Archbald is renowned for its awards and contributions to missile systems, nuclear instrumentation, and control products.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans for a variety of electronic, Cables & Harness, and electromechanical assemblies, including material and process specifications.
- Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop process plans, tooling, support equipment, and process flows.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
- Apply lean and six sigma manufacturing principles to reduce cost and increase yields.
- Utilize strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.

Work location:
Onsite full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Knowledge in Lean manufacturing concepts and techniques.
- Basic skills in 3D modeling software such as Solidworks and 3D Printing prototyping.
- Understanding the concept of Root Cause/Corrective Action.
- Data analytics.
- Familiar with Six Sigma.
