Job DescriptionYou will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Team. Our team is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems that ensure product excellence.
Responsibilities- Design and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and production equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to establish and enforce quality standards.
- Conduct statistical analysis and cost assessments for non-conforming items.
- Audit quality systems, identify deficiencies, and drive corrective actions that meet reliability standards.
- Document all quality activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, etc.) with 2 years of professional experience; or a related Master's degree.
- Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Effective communication with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
- Willingness/ability to travel as needed.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
- Pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
- Obtain a clearance. US Citizen.
Desired
Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or CQIA.
- SAP Application Experience.
- IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
- First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.
- Special Process Engineering Experience.
- Strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
- Strong communication (both oral and written) necessary to support the assignment.

Archibald, PA. - Shift: First.
- Work Schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. - Security Clearance:
Secret. - Requirement: U.S. Citizen.
