You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Team. Our team is responsible for developing, modifying, and maintaining quality evaluation and control systems that ensure product excellence.

• Design and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and production equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to establish and enforce quality standards.
• Conduct statistical analysis and cost assessments for non-conforming items.
• Audit quality systems, identify deficiencies, and drive corrective actions that meet reliability standards.
• Document all quality activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, etc.) with 2 years of professional experience; or a related Master's degree.
• Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Effective communication with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
• Willingness/ability to travel as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
• Pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
• Obtain a clearance. US Citizen.

Desired

Skills:

• Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading.
• Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
• ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or CQIA.
• SAP Application Experience.
• IPC/J-STD, GD&T familiarity.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 experience.
• Special Process Engineering Experience.
• Strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques.
• Strong communication (both oral and written) necessary to support the assignment.
