Job Overview
You will be the Quality Engineer for the Circuit Card Quality Team. Our team develops, modifies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems to ensure product excellence.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality evaluation systems.
- Modify and improve existing control processes.
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation.
- Conduct audits to ensure product excellence.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline with 2 years of professional experience, a related Master’s degree, or equivalent combined education/experience.
- Ability to focus on continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Effectively communicate with customers, program teams, and other functional departments.
- Willingness/ability to travel to support program issues or needs as they arise.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines, and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
- Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception exams.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical blueprint reading, critical design attributes, and auditing/surveying capabilities.
- Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification.
- ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).
- SAP application experience.
- IPC/J‑STD and GD&T familiarity.
- First Article Inspection (FAI) experience in accordance with AS9102.
- Special Process Engineering experience.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, corrective action, and causal analysis techniques.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to support the assignment.
Secret level clearance required. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
LocationArchbald, Pennsylvania (onsite full‑time position).
Work Schedule4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
