Position: Project Management & Planning Operations Rep Staff

Description

You will be a Production Operations Lead for our Lockheed Martin Archbald facility. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality products, and you will play a critical role in ensuring that our production operations meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Production Operations Lead, you will guide production operation activities for the NNPP or MFC programs lines of business within the Archbald facility. You will serve as the primary interface between functional production teams and program/production operations management, providing direction, coordination, communication, support, and leadership to cross‑functional production teams to ensure quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met. You will work closely with various functional groups, including manufacturing engineering, production planning and control, design engineering, test engineering, procurement, configuration management, quality, and production teams.

You will effectively communicate with program management, customers, and all levels of management via verbal and written correspondence and author Program Directives (PDs). You will present the team’s performance in Program and Customer Reviews as required and coordinate closely with Production Operations leadership and Program Management.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Lead proposals for Operations; coordinate timely responses for recurring and non‑recurring efforts including Basis of Estimates (BOEs), spend plans, and conduct reviews with manufacturing leadership prior to submittal.
  • Lead Make/Buy efforts.
  • Develop, coordinate, and oversee Prod Ops planning/execution of various programs including Development, Production, IRAD, NRE, RTG plans.
  • Plan facilities and capital to support program production needs.
  • Lead Production Readiness Review (PRR) activities.
  • Develop and drive Affordability and Producibility targets, Production Excellence Plans.
  • Ensure production manpower and required resources are in place per the Internal Operation Plan.
  • Create and track manufacturing plans/schedules.
  • Manage Cost Accounts (CAM) including EAC/Spend Plan development.
  • Develop/support Archbald Red Flag process.

This position is located in Archbald, Pennsylvania.

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 6+ years of professional experience, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or direct proven NNPP, IPT and Program Performance experience.
  • Demonstrated full‑spectrum leadership skills.
  • Experience with in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with budgeting, manpower planning, production planning, nonrecurring production planning, and MRP.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
Desired Skills
  • Previous experience leading in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to collect and verify data from multiple systems (including SAP, Apriso, etc.).
  • Experience with Tableau and/or other data reporting tools.
  • Direct experience with PMTs and the PMT process.
  • Green Belt certification.
  • Experience leading, coaching, mentoring, and motivating in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication, electro‑mechanical assembly, and/or circuit card manufacturing.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP/manufacturing planning tools.
  • Previous NNPP manufacturing experience and familiarity with this product line.
  • CAM certification and/or cost analysis experience.
