Staff Quality Engineer - PGNES Program Lead - Archbald, PA
You will be the Quality Engineer Staff - PGNES Program Lead for the Program Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for applying quality principles across design, production, and supplier processes to ensure product and process excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Staff - PGNES Program Lead you will be responsible for driving program‑level quality execution and serving as the primary quality interface for the PGNES (or other MFC) program at the Archbald site.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the Quality Engineering effort for the assigned program.
- Apply quality principles to design, production, and supplier processes.
- Coordinate cross‑functional interfaces to ensure product and process excellence.
- Develop and execute program‑specific quality plans and metrics.
- Identify and resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Desired skills
Knowledge of MFC Archbald Progams - PGNES or other MFC Programs Experience in a lead position History of positive customer coordination and interaction
Experience with Basis of Estimate generation
Experience with NRE planning and execution Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA). Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex. Quality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional and procedures for inspection.
Strong understanding in AS9100, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and/or NQA-1/10

50 Appendix 50. IPC 610/620, J-STD-001 certification and or GD&T familiarity/training. Experience with control and disposition of nonconforming material. Project Management, Leadership and Delegation Abilities with strong problem solving skills, corrective action and causal analysis techniques. Knowledge and understanding of critical design attributes and auditing/surveying capabilities. Audit, Process Line Verification and/or Hardware Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Quality Assessment experience. Ability to focus on continual improvement Be able to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
