Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Painter 1st Shift to join their team. As a Painter 1st Shift, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the painting and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Painter 1st Shift
Location: Archdale, NC
Pay Range: $20/hr
Shift: Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm with OT potential on Fridays
Contract position for 3 months
What's the Job?
- Perform production powder coating and wet spray painting on various parts
- Mix paint and prepare parts for painting, including masking and washing
- Load and unload parts from the paint line efficiently and safely
- Organize parts by color scheme to streamline production workflow
- Maintain accurate production paperwork and ensure quality standards are met
What's Needed?
- Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, turn, and lift up to 30 lbs. frequently
- Sufficient reading and writing skills to follow work instructions and prepare reports
- Good visual acuity (corrected) for reading instructions, operating equipment, and inspecting parts
- Manual dexterity to operate painting equipment properly
- Ability to meet respiratory requirements through spirometry testing
