Job Description & How to Apply Below

Our client is a well-established, privately owned contract manufacturer specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication for OEM customers across a variety of industries. Known for its high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing environment, the company has built its reputation on quality, responsiveness, and strong customer relationships. As the business continues to grow, they are seeking a hands‑on Quality Manager who will help strengthen their quality systems while supporting production and driving continuous improvement.

This is not a desk‑bound quality management role. We're looking for someone who would rather be on the production floor than sitting behind a computer. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced fabrication environment, enjoys working side‑by‑side with operators, welders, machinists, and supervisors, and has the technical ability to pick up a part, verify it meets specifications, identify problems, and implement practical solutions.

Success in this role requires someone who can balance strong quality standards with the realities of a growing manufacturing operation. You’ll build practical, scalable processes that keep production moving, maintain an audit‑ready quality system, and foster a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.

Position Summary

The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the company's entire quality function, ensuring products consistently meet customer requirements while supporting efficient production operations. This role oversees the Quality Management System (QMS), product inspection, calibration, audits, supplier quality, and corrective action initiatives, while driving continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Success in this role requires a hands‑on leader who is comfortable spending significant time on the production floor, partnering with operators, welders, machinists, engineers, and supervisors to solve problems, improve processes, and build a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.
