Onsite R&D Test Technician - Arden Hills, MN
Pay Rate: Up to $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (some flexibility with start times)
Location: Onsite in Arden Hills, MN
We are seeking a detail-oriented R&D Test Technician to support mechanical and electrical testing of medical device components, including leads and catheters. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on testing experience who thrive in a structured, protocol-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mechanical testing such as pull, flex, torque, fatigue, and extension/retraction testing
- Conduct electrical and high-voltage/current testing as required
- Execute semi-automated tests with precise setup and documentation
- Accurately collect, record, and analyze test data in compliance with quality standards
- Support R&D testing activities including x-ray analysis, tensile testing, and electrical measurement
- Maintain strict adherence to quality systems and regulated procedures
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience (assembler, operator, or test technician) with at least 1 year of related experience
- Experience with tensile, force, and flex testing equipment preferred
- Familiarity with HiPot testing, microscopes, and electrical measurement systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic file management
