Our client is a well-established, fast-paced company in the food industry, known not only for its commitment to Food Safety and compliance but also for fostering an incredible team culture. This onsite role in Arden Hills, MN is central to shipping, receiving, and documentation processes that are vital to the company’s Food Safety program. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage daily shipping, receiving, and Food Safety paperwork for both food and non-food products
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shipping and receiving, identifying discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation
- Contact vendors or preparers to resolve questions or inconsistencies in documents
- Enter relevant data into Quick Books and maintain documentation in Trace Gains
- Ensure compliance with FDA, BRC, and customer Food Safety requirements
- File and organize office paperwork with accuracy and efficiency
- Build strong relationships by interacting with customers and employees in a professional and service-oriented manner
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in administrative, accounting, documentation, or logistics-focused roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe, and Trace Gains
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a team-first mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Business degree or liberal arts education
- Experience with Quick Books
- Knowledge of Food Safety requirements
- Background in manufacturing and/or logistics
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs
- Frequent use of hands for typing and document handling
- Work performed primarily indoors
