Up to $47.25/hour Job Summary
We are seeking a Labeling Graphics Acquisition Specialist to support the development, coordination, and implementation of packaging and labeling artwork for new and existing medical device products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite, labeling processes, quality systems, change control, and regulated product environments
.
This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, and Project Management
, to ensure labeling and packaging materials are accurate, compliant, consistent, and delivered on schedule.
- Develop and coordinate packaging and labeling artwork using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
. - Create and maintain labeling data and formats within the Global Labeling System (GLS).
- Support acquisition product development teams with Instructions for Use (IFU) content.
- Coordinate translations for labeling and product literature with external translation vendors.
- Manage content changes while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and project timelines.
- Create new packaging components and update existing packaging designs.
- Support labeling reviews,
Change Requests
, approvals, and release activities. - Maintain electronic and paper-based labeling graphics filing systems.
- Ensure compliance with labeling procedures, quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Communicate with external vendors regarding packaging artwork, proofs, and revisions.
- Monitor project activities and proactively address issues impacting quality or delivery timelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve labeling processes, procedures, and content consistency.
- Minimum 4 years of professional labeling experience
. - Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite
, including: - Adobe Illustrator
- Experience working with quality systems and change control processes
. - Experience in the medical device industry or another highly regulated environment.
- Experience supporting medical electrical equipment or similar capital equipment
. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, and Project Management.
- Direct technical writing experience.
- Experience developing or supporting IFUs, labeling, packaging, or product literature
. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
.
The ideal candidate will have a combination of graphic design and labeling experience
, preferably within the medical device or other highly regulated industry
. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, packaging artwork, labeling compliance, quality systems, change control, and cross-functional project coordination is highly desired.
