About the Role

Supports electrical and electronic engineering activities, often involving specialized equipment or products in the manufacturing environment. Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set‑up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Works with engineers in conducting experiments.

Work Mode

Onsite work model requiring employees to be in the local office at least five days per week.

Your

Responsibilities Include:
  • Designs, develops, debugs, modifies, tests, builds, assembles electrical circuits and systems, circuitry, test equipment, prototypes using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions.
  • Documents, tests, evaluates, analyzes, verifies electrical development of electronic systems, circuits, prototypes, components by writing documents, reports, memos, change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards. Works from test procedures, specifications and/or written and verbal instructions.
  • Tracks, troubleshoots electrical development effort. Set‑ups, circuit or device problems by creating and maintaining records in an approved tracking management tool through electrical understanding, utilization of documentation and problem solving practices.
  • Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations (including QSE and ISO Standards) and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) principles. In‑depth knowledge of safety principles, hazards and requirements.
  • Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process. Complies with all Boston Scientific quality requirements and procedures.
  • Performs routine and complex equipment setup. Owns corrective, preventive and calibration maintenance tasks, as well as proactive management of equipment spares to improve uptime.
  • Evaluates and orders necessary equipment, tools and fixtures.
  • Works with other technicians and engineers on process improvement. Some experience of project execution.
  • Participates in the mentorship and development of less experienced technicians in technical, business or communication skillsets.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3 years with AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IPC Soldering Trainer for Soldering / inspection.
Salary Range

Minimum Salary: $55,432. Maximum Salary: $94,224.

Compensation Overview

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, certification and other relevant factors. The role may include variable compensation such as overtime, shift differential, annual bonuses and long‑term incentives, depending on classification. All compensation is provided in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
