Financial Analyst II – Animal Nutrition Business Unit
Location:
Arden Hills, MN corporate headquarters.
Schedule:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in office each week.
We are hiring a Financial Analyst to support our Animal Nutrition Business Unit. You will partner with Supply Chain leadership, plant managers, and commercial teams on key strategic projects.
Responsibilities- Provide support through measurement and analysis of Key Performance Indicators across our manufacturing locations.
- Work cross-functionally to understand financial drivers of manufacturing costs and recommend strategies to maximize profitability.
- Build models, dashboards, and tools that provide business insights.
- Manage forecasting and planning processes and encourage accountability for achieving forecasted/plan results.
- Serve as liaison between business and animal nutrition accounting teams, ensuring accurate financial transactions.
- Participate in key internal controls within the Business Unit.
- Provide input and recommendations for process improvements.
- Undertake special projects such as business integration and broader FP&A initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required, with 4‑6 years of related work experience.
- MBA preferred.
- Experience in a related industry preferred.
- Working knowledge and direct application of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow concepts.
- Forecasting and budgeting experience.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization tools a plus.
- Prior experience with Hyperion Essbase or similar tool.
- Project ownership and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities demonstrated in prior experience.
- Ability to partner and develop relationships with business partners and provide financial insights.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
$81,200–$121,800. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary range.
