About the Role:

Cardiac Diagnostics is a leading developer of mobile health solutions and remote monitoring services that connect patients threatened by cardiac arrhythmias. Using insights to create revolutionary monitoring technologies, this tech-enabled, service-based approach can ultimately reduce the cost of care and improve health outcomes. Cardiac Diagnostics’ wearable portfolio includes the Patient Care Platform and Body Guardian  family.

Your Responsibilities will include:

Participate in the areas of data science, data-driven analysis, signal processing, data mining, and machine learning.

Research and assess next-generation technologies for the analysis of biological signals and data-driven modeling and optimization of complex systems.

Performs exploratory data analysis and visualizations of multivariate clinical data sets Works closely with software engineering and other Data Scientists to test algorithms

Maintains state-of-the-art knowledge and contributes to technical discussions and reviews in related areas of responsibility

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in data science, computer science, mathematics, physics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or biomedical engineering.

Must graduate between Fall 2027
- Spring 2028.Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods:
May 17th – August 6th OR May 24th – August 13th.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.

Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location

Proficient understanding of modern statistical data analysis techniques.

Strong programming skills in Python.

Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms and modern Computer Engineering techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous research experience in biological signal processing or biomedical data analysis.

Experience with signal processing and feature extraction from physiological signals.

Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

Knowledge of cloud computing and big data technologies.

Experience working with Deep Neural Networks and deep learning toolkits such as Tensor Flow and Theano.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under mentor guidance.

Collaborate with peers, management, operations teams, and external organizations.
