Global Supply Chain Planner I About the Role
Coordinate and control demand planning activities for Service Parts in the growing Capital Equipment Business with multiple stakeholders across divisions and regions.
Your Responsibilities- Computer and Systems Knowledge: solid knowledge of Microsoft suite with proficiency in Excel, plus solid knowledge of SAP ERP and Kinaxis Rapid Response planning systems; applies conceptual knowledge within the planning system to solve problems that impact daily planning.
- Data Analytics: conduct solid analytics on business problems and datasets; produce, retrieve, and interpret reports using standard systems and tools, applying understanding of supply chain‑related metrics.
- Inventory Management: daily monitor inventory levels for products in portfolio, recommend inputs to inventory targets, manage inventory to plan and identify improvement opportunities, and communicate supply updates to marketing and regional planners.
- Manage Forecast Inputs / Improve Forecast Accuracy: work directly with marketing, sales operations, and regional planners to set the forecast to meet global demand; organize and present data to influence and improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
- SI&OP Process: facilitate portions of cross‑functional SI&OP Demand Planning and Net Requirements meetings, collaborate with global peers to capture credible net requirements, and support projects or analysis resulting from the SI&OP process.
- Manage Product Lifecycle Events: independently prepare product lifecycle SI&OP templates, ensure sufficient inventory per product event plan, communicate tracking materials to the cross‑functional SI&OP team, and represent supply chain on complex product development or EOL/EOS teams.
- Partnership with Clinical Supply Chain: partner with Clinical Supply Chain to understand clinical study inventory needs, incorporate clinical study demand into overall forecast, and provide additional considerations for forecasting.
- Master Data Maintenance: ensure GSCP‑owned fields are complete and accurate for the product portfolio, maintain current training for SOPs and work instructions related to ERP and planning system master data, and provide input on master data fields managed in other functions when asked.
- Project Management: develop and document project plans, understand dependencies and sequence of events, execute required monthly/scheduled tasks, and may lead a small to moderate scope project team with guidance.
- Leadership: provide informal guidance to new team members (no supervisory responsibility).
- Supply Chain Design: represent supply chain within a franchise or product line, supporting end‑to‑end supply chain design for activities such as new product launches, acquisitions, integrations, site transfers, optimized product flow, and resiliency.
- 1+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning, materials management, manufacturing planning, or inventory control function.
- Bachelor’s degree required in business or supply chain.
- Working experience with DRP, MPS, MRP, SAP or ERP System.
- PC skills utilizing such software programs as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Consistently performs to a high level of accuracy and with a high attention to detail in all tasks.
- Adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and with business stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
- APICS Certification is a plus.
- Working experience with Kinaxis/Rapid Response & SAP.
Minimum Salary: $51,000. Maximum Salary: $96,900.
