Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: As an Account Manager, you will work directly with customers to offer sales support, perform administrative functions, and process sales, ensuring that customer needs are met. The Account Manager is responsible for collaborating with Tenet Segment Leaders and Business Development to grow market share, increase revenue with new and existing customers, and support the launch and development of new strategies and product lines.

You will prospect new vendors, manage vendor set up, establish stock levels, and provide operational support. You will also help prepare quotes and product packages, track projects, and provide customer service throughout the sales process. Furthermore, you will conduct market research, assist in budget creation and manage all aspects of assigned product segments.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business field or a related field preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in sales support in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Deep understanding of construction and construction-related supplies preferred.
  • Familiarity with Net Suite preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure personalized customer service; enter work orders for execution by warehouse staff.
  • Receive, research, and prepare sales proposals and product information requests from the Business Development team and customers.
  • Prepare quotes and submit product information packages for review and approval.
  • Research and resolve questions and comments from co-workers and customers, modifying proposals as needed and updating customer information.
  • Follow up with customers on bids and project submittals; track upcoming projects as required.
  • Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse and respond to sales calls for general information.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Pay Range: $62,000 - $92,500, depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Travel Requirements: This position requires the ability to travel to customers’ offices, job sites, industry and training events, and other Tenet locations as needed. Travel will primarily be by car, with occasional flights for longer distances.
