Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with strong experience in Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) systems to support on-site automation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC programs, ensuring efficient operation of industrial systems, and supporting commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Allen-Bradley platforms (Control Logix, Compact Logix, Micro Logix)
- Configure and maintain HMI/SCADA systems (Factory Talk View or equivalent)
- Perform on-site commissioning, startup, and testing of automation systems
- Debug and resolve issues related to PLC logic, I/O systems, and communication networks
- Integrate PLCs with field devices such as transmitters, switches, valves, motors, VFDs, and actuators
- Work with industrial communication protocols (Ether Net/IP, Device Net, Modbus)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system documentation
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams over calls, zoom, and in-person meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry’s best practices
- Provide documentation, including technical reports, program backups, and change logs
- BE/BTech/BS in Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical
- Years of Exp: 10 to 12 Yrs
- Experience in Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradely PLC
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming
- Strong knowledge of RSLogix 500 / Studio 5000 (Logix Designer)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development (Factory Talk preferred)
- Solid understanding of industrial automation systems and control theory
- Ability to work on-site independently and handle troubleshooting under pressure
- Travel to sites and stay to complete the work.
