Location: Mercy Hospital Ardmore and Surrounding Communities
Position: Respiratory Therapist – GIG (RRT and CRT)
Compensation: $35/hr (RRT) / $30/hr (CRT) + Variable Shift Incentive
Schedule: Flexibility in Day/Night and number of hours worked. No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. 4, 8, or 12‑hour shifts available. Variable shift incentives possible. Ability to pick up day or night shift – whatever works for you.
Responsibilities- Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
- Consult physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
- Act as advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
- Perform duties as assigned.
- Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and holds a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). For emergency room workers, PALS and ACLS are required.
- Experience: At least one year of experience (orientation time not included).
- Physical demands: Must be able to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Pinch up to 10 lbs. Minimize kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- Equipment: Use all appropriate respiratory care devices.
- Preferred Experience: Critical care experience is preferred.
