Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, and ensures monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication‑related problems through intervention with the physician. Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel to ensure the timeliness of medication administration. Follows approved policies, procedures, protocols, regulatory standards in executing job responsibilities.
Position Details:Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a School or College of Pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
Licensure: Requires a current pharmacist license from applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
Preferred Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

Pharmacists practicing in Missouri must have a Medication Therapy Service Certificate as issued by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of start date.
