Role
The Physical Therapist provides objective assessments and develops individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients, supervised by therapy leadership.
ResponsibilitiesConduct initial evaluations, interpret tests, establish goals, and educate patients and caregivers on treatment and home programs. Administer modalities and exercise regimens, reassess and modify plans, and document progress accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with physicians as needed. Maintain departmental records, ensure safety and infection control, and manage patient load efficiently. Participate in departmental education, meetings, and continuous learning activities.
Supervise students and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, current licensure, and BLS certification. Preferred one year of experience with adult and geriatric care. Must meet physical demands, including lifting, standing, and mobility tasks.
