Job Overview
We are looking for a Fleet Services Technician. As a fleet services technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and performing routine maintenance on various types of Institute owned vehicles and equipment. Your work helps Noble achieve its goals and share the story of regenerative land stewardship with farmers, ranchers, potential donors, and society at large.
Salary Range$43,490 – $54,365 per year (education and experience factor into salary and could exceed the max of the range). This is a safety-sensitive position.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair assorted Institute vehicles and equipment, including powertrain management, drivetrain, braking/anti-lock, suspension, steering, HVAC, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Respond to off‑campus locations for vehicle repairs and services.
- Perform preventive maintenance: schedule and perform basic preventive maintenance and repair on vehicles and equipment (e.g., oil, filter, lubrication, tire repair, etc.) and keep records up to date.
- Fuel vehicles and equipment onsite.
- Operate Institute and personal vehicles in compliance with the Vehicle Use Policy and Fleet Safety Program and conduct pre‑operational vehicle checks to ensure safety and functionality.
