EJ has immediate openings for 3rd Shift (Sun Night-Wed Night 7pm-5am) Finishing Utility starting at $21.50 per hour with an additional $1.50 shift premium.

Finishing Utility performs a variety of manufacturing duties, including machine tending, drill press operation, hand grinding, material handling, and forklift operation. The position supports safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Machine Attendant:
Load/unload parts, monitor machine cycles, change tooling/materials, inspect parts, and maintain production flow. Uses a computer to obtain and/or input information - Drill Press Operation:
Set up and operate drill presses, position parts, verify dimensions, and maintain tooling. - Hand Grinding and Finishing:
Grind, deburr, remove excess material, and inspect parts for quality standards. - Use of power and/or hand tools that may include air grinder, overhead air hoist, chipping hammer, hammer, punch, and screwdriver
- Forklift Operation:
Safely transport materials, load/unload equipment, perform inspections, and support production logistics. - May aid in the training of others
- Quality and Safety:
Follow PPE requirements, inspect products, report defects, maintain housekeeping, and comply with company policies. - Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift Truck Drivers License
