Admissions Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As an integral member of our admissions department, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the intake process, ensuring a smooth transition for new residents, and providing exceptional customer service to their families.

Admissions Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the intake process for new residents, including scheduling tours, gathering necessary documentation, and conducting resident interviews
  • Collect and review medical records, insurance information, and other necessary documents to ensure a seamless transition
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure that new residents receive comprehensive care and support
  • Communicate with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and involved in the admission process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all admissions, including resident information, insurance data, and payment information
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and staff, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry and reporting
Admissions Coordinator Requirements
  • Prior experience in admissions, healthcare administration, or related field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with regard to documentation and records
