Lower Merion School District Secretary

The Lower Merion School District is hiring a 12-month Secretary for the Administrative Building. This position supports the Student Services department, which includes maintaining student records and other duties as assigned. Additionally, this position provides coverage in the reception area of the District Administrative Office as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years' experience and/or training preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to compose clear, concise and professional correspondence using proper format, grammar, spelling.
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office:
  Word, Outlook, Excel required.
• Ability to use the internet to retrieve information or do research.
• A working knowledge of Power School and Power Grade desirable.
• Strong ability to interact with teachers, students, administrators and parents.
• Organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks are needed in the successful candidate.

Applicant must demonstrate competency on the computerized qualifying tests.

This is a 12-month position with a starting salary of $53,893.00 (subject to be prorated based on start date) and includes full LMSD benefits package. Salary and benefits set by the LMEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
